A one-of-a-kind art event
Every year, Quinta do Pinhô hosts the Pinhô Artist Residency — an annual gathering of artists from around the world who come to create, share, and connect with the natural and cultural richness of the Douro region.
After 2 brilliant editions, we will host another Pinhô Artists residency for a period of 2 weeks (6 – 19 Jul. 2026) 6 artists will have the opportunity to create art works out of their regular studio in a superb environment of Douro Region.
The venue
The artists residency will take place in the a superb environment of Douro Region in Portugal, and will be hosted by the amazing Quinta do Pinhô.
Art is deeply woven into the identity of the Quinta, shaping its spirit and inspiring dialogue between creativity and landscape. The residency celebrates this connection, transforming the space into a living studio of contemporary expression.
This event is curated by Hubert d’Ursel, Director at The Fine Art Group.
Open studio
You are highly welcome to attend the open studio days on 18 and 19 July 2026 where all artists will present you their works. You will get to know the artists, their work and their vision first hand.
Open from 11h to 18h, with drinks & bites.
New collaboration with Ancienne Nonciature
We are delighted to present an exhibition “ARTE NUNZIO Quinta do Pinhô Artists Residency” which will take place from 10 to 27 September 2026 in the historic salons of the emblematic Ancienne Nonciature located in the Arts district of the Grand Sablon in Brussels. It will cover the period of the Brussels Art Week “Rendez-Vous” (10 to 13 September) and the period of the B.A.S., Brussels Art Square at the Sablon (24 to 27 September) and also by appointment between 15 to 23 september.
